Dinner for Schmucks
This hilarious knee slapper is a great film if your in for a good chuckle and non stop laughs! This movie stars Steve Carrel, Paul Rudd and Stephanie Szostak, who all end up in a revolving conflict for the majority of this film. Dinner for Schmucks was directed by Jay Roach and theatrically released July 30, 2010.
This film is quite comparable to the 40 Year Old Virgin which also stars Steve Carrel in a hilarious comedy. They are similar movies in a sense that Steve Carrel is the punch-liner in both films!
The movie begins with Tim (Paul Rudd), accidentally hitting Barry (Steve Carrel) in his porshe, in an attempt for Barry to salvage a dead mouse on the road. Tim was recently invited to a promotional dinner hosted by his company to see which employee could invite the biggest idiot, ironically, Barry would fit the description of "the biggest idiot" perfectly! Throughout the dinner, guests would "perform" as everyone celebrated the guests idiocy!
When I viewed the film, I thought it was very entertaining and absolutely hysterical. The acting was very well done especially by Steve Carrel, who pulled off the senseless human being who never understood the point anyone was trying to get across and by Paul Rudd, who constantly had to deal with Barry's ridiculousness. David Guion and Michael Handelman did a phenomenal job writing the hilarious screenplay they successfully pulled off, making every minute of the movie one with a chuckle! Overall I would recommend the movie Dinner for Schmucks to anyone who is looking for a jam packed comedy film with lots and lots of laughs!

About Me
My name is Jordan, I am a grade 12 student at Elmira District Secondary School. I have many interests, one of them being biking. I enjoy all aspects of biking but what I do most is dirt jumping. Another interest i have is snowboarding. That is what takes up most of my winter, if we get snow that year !! I like going in the terrain parks and hitting rails and jumps. There is so much freedom out there, you can just pick your own line and challenge yourself with only you and the hill. I also enjoy going up to my cottage in Kincardine, where I go to various bike parks and swim, as well as skimboard. It's a great spot to relax and take in as much of the outdoors as you can ! In the first semster of grade 12 I was in the homebuild program, so the best part about that was i didn't have to sit in a desk all day and it was very hands on. This semester should also be fairly easy if I stay on top of things and don't fall behind.
